Architex 2008 - exhibition for innovative & technical textiles

Architex, conceived as a business meeting point between the textile industries and the professionals, will take place on July, Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd, 2008 at Lingotto Fiere (Third Pavilion and Congress Centre).

On display: applications, services, technologies, innovative products for architecture, building, civil engineering.

Being part of the program of Turin World Design Capital for 2008, the exhibition for innovative and technical textiles, is listed in the calendar of events planned by the XXIII World Congress of Architecture, where 15.000 architects are expected from more than 100 countries.

Organized by biella intraprendere, Architex is promoted by TexClubTec (Italian Association of Technical Textiles) and by the Italian National Association of Architects.

The exhibitors will be manufacturers of chemical products, coated, composites, couples, cords, fibres, films, finishings, membranes, monofilaments, nets, non woven textiles, ropes, tapes, textiles, yarns; companies working in the field of applications and in the field of services.

The stands will be furnished as business-stations, where exhibitors will welcome visitors and display products, materials and projects.

Architex means not only innovation but also emotion, production and creativity, creativity and new relations. Mutation is the expression of the exhibition, its characterizing concept: mutation as change of state, shape, colour, function.

A unique concept that will be developed throughout eight areas where the main roles are played by textile materials and their applications: colour, hot_cold, wet_dry, light_darkness, noise_silence, rigidity_flexibility, on_off, man_earth.

The suggestions proposed by Gianni Bologna, concept manager of Architex, will be presented to visitors by an area of a strong emotional effect.
